About the hotel

"Artefact" mini-hotel is located in the historic center of St. Petersburg on the Petrograd Side in the former Reimer’s tenement building of 1911, surrounded by historical monuments and culture. Petrograd district where the hotel is located is one of the most peaceful and quiet areas of St. Petersburg with its numerous verdured areas, parks and quiet streets. Petrograd Side, on the one hand, really reflects the athmosphere of St.-Petersburg, because this is where the city construction was started, on the other hand it is so unlike the rest of the city with its straight avenues and streets; intricate winding little streets resemble those of Moscow on the Boulevard Ring. Take a walk and you will not regret it.

Five-minute walk from the mini-hotel you can reach Alexander Garden with "Mini-gorod" Tourist Centre, "Baltic House" and "Music Hall" theaters, St. Petersburg Planetarium, and "Lenfilm" studio. Not far away is the "Zayachiy ostrov" (Rabbit Island) - a place where the history of St. Petersburg began, and out of the mini-hotel windows you will see the spire of the Peter and Paul Fortress, one of the main attractions of the northern capital.

In the Petrograd region, you can visit Elagin palace, Botanical Gardens, "Aurora" cruiser, "Petrovskiy" stadium, and "Yubileyniy" Sports Complex. Children will enjoy "Divo Ostrov" Amusement Park, the Zoo, and Dolphinarium.

Thanks to favourable location, the main sights of St.Petersburg could be easily reached within minutes. A pleasant walk across the Troitskiy Bridge will take you into another historical region of the city, the Central region, where all famous and interesting tourist sites of the city are located. Among them are Summer Garden (Letniy Sad), Hermitage, Dvortsovaya Square, the Kazan Cathedral, the Church of the Spilled Blood, the Russian Museum, Nevskiy prospekt, St. Isaac Cathedral and many more.

While staying at our mini-hotel you will not experience any transportation problems: just minutes of walk and you get to the Gorkovskaya subway station from where it takes less than half an hour to reach city train stations, and about an hour - the Pulkovo airport.

In other words, we tried to consider all the details to make your stay most comfortable so that nothing could distract you from getting many vivid impressions while you’re on a visit to one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
